A real showpiece dress, the Ostuni gown embodies the opulence of Renaissance Florence and Elizabethan England: a bodice framed by rows of draping pearls, interlaced with filigree motifs and floral vines. The hand-finished bead and sequinwork grounds the trompe l’oeil stitch on soft Italian tulle.
Fusing decadent detailing with influence from Italian painter Botticelli’s controversial masterpiece Primavera, this gown has been reimagined with Tudor, rose garden-inspired apothecary motifs and bright fresco-style florals.
All of the embroidery is originally hand-painted in-house, engineered meticulously to fit the panelling, then skilfully realised into its finished creation.
